Southern - grand pillars showcasing verandahs across the
front are the welcoming entry for your guests as they
are driven to the top of the hill overlooking horse pastures
and a scenic tree line ridge across the creek. The interior
of the home is resplendent with soaring cathedral ceilings
and a double circular staircase connecting the foyer to
the great room above. The built in fruitwood bars on both
levels offer a perfect way to ensure quick service for
your guests. The billiards room has a permanent resident
named "The Can Man" who invites your guests
to spin a disc on the Wurlitzer or rack up a game of 8
ball. Elegant living room furnishings allow an intimate
setting for guests to chat, or the open spaciousness of
the great room lends itself to larger gatherings or even
a great place to dance. The formal dining room is perfect
for the main buffet and leads to the front verandah and
a romantic view of the valley below. The kitchen is designed
along Provencial lines with dried herb baskets, large
counters, and islands. The back terrace opens from the
kitchen and great room through French doors and features
an intimate herb garden with a rosemary hedge circling
more delicate herbs. Dining al fresco was never so inviting
as from this vantage point, complete with shooting fountains
in the granite edged pool.
